Visited for my significant others birthday dinner, was not disappointed! The service was prompt and affable, and made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of wine options, and the calamari appetizer was delicious. Our servers, Clancy and Jesus were attentive, knowledgeable, and very kind. The 60 South Salmon was delicious and well portioned. My partner was treated to a complementary birthday dessert. Great night, great restaurant, will definitely come back.

Fantastic food. Excellent service. Huge portions of the veal. Perfectly cooked rare steak. Calamari was delicately fried and crispy. Eggplant rillettes were wonderful with plenty of cheese. The gnocchi with cheddar was a fantastic fancy Mac n cheese!

Don’t let the fact that it’s located inside a hotel fool you; this is not your average hotel restaurant...We were genuinely floored by how attentive and kind everyone was. So, so good! We were surprised! When you think of a restaurant in a hotel, you don't think "excellent!" This is an exception. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all top-notch... Our sever, Alyssa, paid attention to every detail and was exceptional. John, one of the managers, was interested in our feedback on the food-- not something you see often and definitely not in a hotel restaurant. Would we dine here again? DEFINITELY!!!

So delicious we went back a second time. Service was wonderful from the moment we walked in and throughout our visit. We ordered pasta and salads to share-- so good!!!! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and delicious!

II Venetian is amazing! This was our first time to the restaurant and we were greeted by a delightful hostess and a flautist playing wonderful music. The sommelier steered us to a beautiful Brunello that went great with our Veal Parmigiana. We started with Grilled Octopus and a beet salad that were delicious and the Veal Parm was as good as I've ever eaten. That includes Carbones and Quality Italian in NYC! This will be our go-to restaurant any time we are in Cleveland.

If you want to celebrate a special occasion this place is a great option. Very well connected in the heart of downtown the ambiance food and service are definitely great and so worth it! Went in to try it shortly after I moved to Cleveland and the experience didn't disappoint! Beautiful elegant luxury ambiance and exceptional service every step of the way since you walk in. The food was delicious too, great options for any taste. Their gnocchi pasta was outstanding as well as their chocolate budino! Can't recommend enough!

What an amazing experience! From the moment I was greeted by the super professional hostess, who expertly balanced three groups, simultaneously arriving with grace and class, I knew this was going to be an exceptional experience. The decor was very elegant. The guests included everything from athletes with their bags to business people to casually, dressed hotel guests. I was handed the specials and regular menu. I was expertly guided by the male host to a wonderful Sicilian red wine. I ordered the burrata, the rigatoni with meatballs, and the Caesar salad...

(cont.) I love that the male host asked if I wanted the anchovies, which, of course I did, but I understand that many people would not. The rigatoni was amazing with the most wonderful meatball and sausage. The bread was exceptional with an amazing dipping sauce. Everything was better than expected. What was amazing to me is that the male host and female hostess presented everything with a five star service even though I was getting it to go after a long 10 Hour drive. The level of service was what I was used to in San Francisco pre-Covid. Fantastic experience and highly recommend next time you're in downtown Cleveland.

This isn't just The best restaurant in Ohio. It's one of my favorite restaurants anywhere! I've eaten here 4 times. I've yet to order pasta - right?! I know they make it all in-house, and how do you go to a true Italian restaurant and not order pasta?! That's because the offerings are all amazing and I use pasta as a 'fall back position'. There's no fall back positions here and I will be back to work my way thru the pasta menu. John at the bar is awesome!! They offer excellent selections for wines by the glass and by the bottle. Love this place and you will to! Trust me on this one!

One of Cleveland's most beautiful restaurants, truly. Located inside Key Tower, Il Venetian is absolutely gorgeous. They have a spacious restaurant and beautiful decor, the ambiance was incredible. As for their staff, they are all tremendous. Each and every one of them went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was great. Our server was very attentive and gave great recommendations. The hospitality here is as good as it gets. Onto the food, this was the star of the show

My business partner and I stopped in for a quick luncheon. We had been staying at the Marriott all week and had been searching for a great restaurant during that time. We wished that we had gone to the Il Venetian for all of meals. The staff was wonderful. The food was great. The atmosphere was delightful. This will be my go-to restaurant while in Cleveland, in the future.

Absolutely loved the food and the overall ambiance. Definitely somewhere I could see myself frequenting. Loved my server Deja! She was extra helpful and just awesome all around. She had a great knowledge of the menu and have really great recommendations. Did not disappoint.

Perfect place to get away from the office for a bit and treat yourself to a delicious lunch. Our meal commenced with delicious warm herby ciabatta bread and oil. The roasted beet salad came highly recommended so I went with that and added the salmon. At $24, it was a hefty priced lunch but the food was scrumptious and was a generous portion.

Amazing experience and service! Next time I'm asking for Tony again. Top of the line service. He treats you like a brother. They really treat you like a King or Queen here. The ambiance is phenomenal. You'll have to see for yourself. I got the grilled octopus. Best octopus I've ever had. The blueberry risotto is out of this world and something I've never had before. Next time I go back I'm getting the grilled octopus again! If you have any dietary restrictions, they will take care of you as well. I will definitely be back soon 🙂

The Venetian is a beautiful venue for a lovely dining experience, or for special occasions. Our server, Ronda, was wonderful, welcoming and knowledgeable. Our filets were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend the Venetian if you are looking for a very classy dining experience in Cleveland. From the moment you walk through the doors won't be disappointed.

Upscale elegant fantastic food. I had the privilege to go here for a family style work dinner and I cannot say enough about the attentive staff and quality food. We got to try a vast majority of the menu and while everything was great two dishes that I did not expect, stood out above and beyond. Anyone coming here must order the mushroom risotto and the house rigatoni. You literally cannot go wrong with anything here so just go and enjoy.

Wonderfully elegant dinner at this high-end hotel restaurant... We chose a booth table with comfy cushions and were immediately offered a drink menu. A little while later we were asked if we cared for some complimentary house-made focaccia bread with olive oil. And oh boy - did we. If we'd known how warm, aromatic, crusty, and fluffy this bread was, we might not have ordered an appetizer. For entrees, the Cappelletti with lobster was the star of the show. Our waiter was courteous throughout the evening and everything was timed slowly as per the custom of fine establishments.

Hands down the best Italian place in town... The bread is phenomenal, but I must warn you against getting a second helping as it will fill you up quickly. With little room in our belly left, we had the octopus, eggplant, tagliatelle, gnocchi, and catch of the day. You will not go wrong with pasta ... ohh my goodness. This is true Italy level pasta.

Last night I dined at Il Venetian with three friends to celebrate birthdays for two of them. We could not have picked a better restaurant. The food was spectacular and the service from everyone from the front desk to the server to the manager could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. The restaurant is beautifully designed and comfortable...with a nice but not deafening buzz. It's some of the best Most sophisticated Italian cuisine this side of New York. We will definitely be back and will rave about it to friends and family.

I took my mum to a pre-Christmas treat at Il Venetian on Dec 23, and we had a wonderful dinner, made even better by impeccable warm efficient (and humorous) service. Il Venetian's dishes remain consistently outstanding. The Wine list is extensive. Both dishes were fabulous. I had the prosciutto as a starter. Other than being too much of a good thing for a starter, it was delicious.

We visited this restaurant a year ago and loved it. Strangely, it took us another year to return. It is probably because it feels like a special occasion restaurant and it was my birthday, again. Amazingly, the Maître d'hôtel remembered us. Our server, Timothy was attentive and very professional. He sold us on their happy hour, so we will be checking that out. The Wine list is extensive. Both dishes were fabulous. I had the prosciutto as a starter. Other than being too much of a good thing for a starter, it was delicious.

The inside is absolutely gorgeous, providing a romantic aesthetic... The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, handing out compliments to my date and I, and most important, providing superb service. We tried many dishes, from the Calamari, to the Eggplant Rollatini, their amazing Housemade Casoncelli, and Veal Agnolotti, all the way down to the Lemon Sorbet, AND Spumoni "Spaghetti". Everything was delightful... We will be back very soon.

Literally just left Il Venetian and could not have been more impressed! The food was outstanding! The menu choices were eclectic and the service was impeccable! Our waiter, Tim, was polite, kind and extremely helpful! He treated us so well and we will certainly request him in the future. The glass chandeliers throughout the restaurant were gorgeous! Happy to say my husband and I will certainly be back!

The manager stopped by after each course to check on us. Our meals were off the charts. Best veal chop I have ever had. But what made the experience truly special was that when were were finished, they packed the leftovers in ice so the food won't spoil while we were at the show. I have eaten in some great restaurant in over thirty countries and Il Venetian is in the top five."

The food remains consistently excellent: eggplant rollatini (melts in your mouth good), beet salad (last evening's formulation was the best yet, of our 4 meals here), octopus, branzini and veal parmagiana. The Branzini also was the best among our 4 meals here. We tried the veal for the first time since it has been given good write ups on this site. The diners are not wrong: it was fantastic. I commented to Katie that the food seems even better and that the chef was lifting the dishes up. To that, she responded there was a new chef. Well, he/she is certainly outstanding.
