HE GRADUATED FROM THE ISITUTO PROFESSIONALE DI STATO PER IL COMMERCIO ADRIA, AN ITALIAN COOKING ACADEMY. HE CAME TO THE U.S. IN 1995 TO WORK IN THE RENOWNED FELIDIAS IN NEW YORK CITY. HE WAS RECRUITED TO COOK FOR THE OWNER OF VILLA D’ ESTE IN COMO, ITALY, WHO OWNED THE ARTUSI RESTAURANT IN MANHATTAN. AFTER WORKING FOR GRISSINI’S IN NEW JERSEY (AND RECEIVING AN “EXCELLENT” RATING BY ZAGAT), ALBERTO BROUGHT HIS TASTES AND TALENT TO CLEVELAND WHERE HE IS NOW EXECUTIVE CHEF OF IL VENETIAN.
